Just how do you,....." rearrange them on a regular basis" ?

I have trouble trying to get their foot to release. I was told by a friend that he's used an ice cube alone it's foot, but I haven't tried it yet.

We have two, a beautiful Colorado Sunburst bta, a white tip and a very nice Green Haddi Carpet, that we want to build a Anemone tank for them.

Any advise and suggestions,....MASTER" !!! :wink: lol

lol i'm not a master... i just picked up a lot of advice from other people on the forums, some local reefers, some elbow work, and my ocd kicking in on the project. lol

honestly, the rearranging usually isn't that hard for this tank. 90% of the bta's stay where i place them initially. i have found that they really like rock with a hole in to place their foot. if not, then i have to move them in order to see them. what's the point in having them, if you can't watch and enjoy them? lol notice that all of the rocks are very porous and on the small side up to about the size of a baseball? that helps greatly. most often i just pick up a rock and spin it, or rearrange the rock work a little. if i have one that i want to remove from a rock, i try to gently rub. most are stuck and i have to use a hammer and chisel. i have not had any success with ice.

p.s. co sunburst are very nice in pics. i would like to see one in person. i have found a bunch of very nice no-name bta's for a fraction of the cost of the named ones. besides most nems change color to some degree when put into a different tank. personally, i can't ever see myself paying that high price tag that goes with the nem... to each their own....
