I’m new to salt water and have a few questions
1st how much R/O water should my auto fill be using I have a 300lt tank and seem to be filling my R/O refill tank up every couple of days it’s a 10lt tub . I’m running my tank at 25 degrees??
2nd I lost all my fish in a week the shop I go to said he thinks it was velvet. I still have a shrimp and some coral left should I still put food in the tank every day. The shop said I need to leave my tank for 8 weeks before I can put any fish back in it . The tank is 7 weeks old and all the tests was fine because the shop did a test for my . Any help would be appreciated??

1. It should be automatically set. The sensors take care of the level and it just pulls from the ATO. Refilling is normal. I refill my 2.5 g ato every other day or so. Note that heater, lights and pumps contribute to heat in the tank and sump that leads to evaporation.

2. No need to feed corals food for now. Light should be enough but that'll stunt growth for a while.

I had to fill my ato bucket every couple of days. Perfectly normal to have to fill it back up often.

Should I be feeding the shrimp?
