Fiji 30 advanced sump mods i did

So my waterbox sump started leaking and I was just going to use a plastic tub for the sump till it gets warmer out and I can see where the sump was leaking but then the same day I got my tax refund lol, so I bought a Fiji 30 gen2 sump.
Never really was thrilled with the waterbox sump anyway so.
After buying it I like the sump but some things I scratch my head about .... like really lol.
The probe holders are so high up that my skimmer would be 3/4 under water.
Where you put the ato sensor or level valve (i think) is at the top of the sump to where no one would ever have the water level that high.
The heater holders are totally useless and don't know how to use them the heaters won't stay in them ????
QUESTION
If i put the heaters on the bottom of the sump will they damage the acrylic????
Any ideas where i can put them ? And are there any good mounts for heaters.
plus there was no where for any sponges before the return pump.
The sump is very nice just a few odd things.
Here are some mods I did lmk what your thoughts are.
The box they use for filter floss I won't use I use socks so I put that box on the bottom to where I can put media bags and such like carbon.
The probe holder I'll keep but will probably cut it out or I'll see if the heaters will fit in maybe hmm .
Then in the fuge area there was no place to put a sponge or filer pad to filter 1 last time before the return pump. So I had a hydros wifi strip holder and glued it in place and it will fit a sponge now. Thoughts on that ?
I have a small frag rack that I can mount and it fits my probes perfectly and can also maybe use it for some frags lol or cut it shorter probably just cut it so it don't stick out so much
Also it's nice that they put lids on it but the top with that is now thick like really thick so have to figure out how I will mount my fuge light or really anything. I'll probably have to cut a section here or there so I can mount things.

I have a fiji 36 at home. I don't personally use the heater holders I just have my heaters sitting at the bottom of the sump. You are supposed to use rubberbands to secure the heaters to the holders. They should come included with the sump but they are easy to accidentally throw out. You can see the notches where the rubber bands attach in this picture.

Guess that makes sense kinda i have them in where the water comes into the sump standing up seems to work good

haha. I thought they were probe holders. My heater is too long so i lay it flat. Are you using that small section for a fuge?
