Hello, I am looking for better filter media when I buy my IM AIO 15gal cube. I am sticking with the stock filter sock, but I am asking if I need any bio media. I am putting 2 ocellaris, and some frags, also some live rock, live sand, RODI water, salt blah blah blah. What bio or normal media would I need?
thanks,
Stewy14
ps. do I need a wavemaker? air pump? water pump? a skimmer?

Hi Stewy, I would get the IM caddy's for that tank. Run some filter floss in top, chemipure blue in middle, bottom either marine pure bio balls, or seachem matrix on the bottom or however you want to do it. You can probably get away without a skimmer? not sure on your bio load come later. You'd want a power head, ecotech mp10s are great, or find something similar for cheaper. There's some cool IM aio youtube videos out there, some really cool ideas people have done with them that work well. Best of luck!
