Filter media for Cansiter Filter

Hey all, I run my 60 gallon on an Oase thermo 250 and I’m wondering what the best filter media for it might be, currently I use the 30 ppi and 20 ppi sponges that it came with, as well as fluval biomax and clearmax resin. Should I change out the sponges for other media or do something else? I also have a small HOB refugium and protein skimmer in the tank.

You could swap one of the sponges for some poly fill.
