It's been awhile since I've brushed up on what's out and what's the latest. Are people still using carbon, if so is there a cleaner one that doesn't take a month to clean out before you can put it in the tank?

I'd love to hear what people are doing to keep the tank clear and happy, thanks.

Can someone confirm that they see my posts? I'm starting to feel a tad bit silly because nobody is responding to any of my posts... Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Sorry no one's responded to your posts. It happens to me sometimes and I just keep bumping and say Hey! Anybody home? lol

Ah there is life in here! And thank you for the response I was starting to get worried I was invisible or something :)

Does it come clean? I think the worst thing to do is clean out carbon before putting it in :)

Yes, it comes clean. You only have to rinse it for maybe 30 seconds.

I use mine in a reactor and run it with the output going into a bucket. I let it run until it is coming out clear.

You have to take into consideration that there are a lot of people posting. Most check specific forums, and some check new posts. With all the new postings it is quite easy for new postings to get buried. Sometimes there are people on that may be new just as you are and don't know the answer. No worries, I'm sure there is nothing wrong on your end.

IF YOU HAD TO OPERATE EVERYTHING ELSE MANUALLY, WHICH AUTOMATED SYSTEM WOULD YOU KEEP?
