Hello everyone!! I know this has probably been asked a dozen times. I have about 20 socks that need cleaning. Can I skip the hose wash outside and go straight to the washer with bleach? I typically turn the socks inside out and hose them off outside first then throw them in the washer with bleach. However, it is 25 degrees outside and I do not feel like hosing them off.

So, does anyone have luck with turning them inside out and just throwing them in? Will it mess up my washer. Dont really want my wife to kill me just yet.. lol

yes..I have been using washer and bleach for 2 years now with no problems! Make sure you wash in hot water. Afterwards, i do soak them in a water conditioner just to make sure.. I have also washed them in vinegar if wife is low on chlorox.

Ok cool. I wash them in the washer everytime as well. However, I have never just tossed them in without rinsing them out first. See any problem with skipping the rinse? I am just worried about clogging up the washer.

My wife would need to be defibrillated if I did that, but otherwise I don’t see why not.

Lol. If I can toss them in without rinsing them out first then what she doesnt know wont hurt her. I think there is a tombstone that says that somewhere.

If it's to bad will Rinse sometimes with garden hose. But 99.9 percent I don't

Using vibrant so pretty bad. Any problems with your washer clogging up?

On my second week. GHA is at a minimum now. Still waiting on bubble algae to clear up
Far as bubble algea my emerald crabs took care of that. I have some turf to deal with. This is my first sign of turf can't stand it. But hopefully vibrant will take care of it.

Wether you pre rinse or not, turn them inside out and in they go.

If you had muddy kids clothes, most would just chuck them in without thinking. This would be no different or any worse by a long shot.
