Advice please people

So purchased a fluval 307 with sprinkler outlet. Love it water is crystal clear only problem, I have a lot of fine tiny white particles floating around. Almost looks like dust? Not sure what they are or how to get rid. Any suggestions?

floating on the water surface? That would mean not enough surface agitation. Point a powerhead at the water surface to put that stuff back in the water colum so your filter can filter it. If anything collects on the surface, its a sign of not enough agitation.

Solid
They almost look like dust particles, very fine.
I’m wondering if it’s salt crystals.

No my water is not milky and I’m well past a bacterial bloom stage. No dead fish or corals and no over feeding as no fish in the tank, just corals. Which is the main reasons for bloom.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
