Fin damage on cardinal fish

I added a cardinal to my tank a week ago and today it looks like he has some fin damage? He’s the only fish in my tank (Fluval evo). I just have him and a cleaner shrimp and cuc.

If it is damage then could it be from the small wave maker? Or is it disease?

Fins look normal to me. Just like my three. If you are worried about the forward dorsal fin, that is how they are.

Ah thanks I wasn’t sure if the first fin had been damaged or something
