I know I sound like am idiot but...when I bult the stand for my little cube ( 40 x 36 x 21 ) I built the stand something like 48 x 44 it was not until I went to move it in the house and went hmm that's not good . door way is only 36

Thanks guys I actually originally made the stand too big to fit the door but luckily I caught if before it was too late. As for the rod it is a pie e of conduit with PVC o er it. I then sanded it with 60 grit paper and then stained it with wood stain. and km amazed how close to the oak it actually looks in person.
