Second clutch and I’ve been feeding my own concoction of soaked foods Like brine in aminos and chili and more oyster and all everything developing mother would need!! So now after the first clutch was on the glass and I missed it and it hatched or was eaten so placed a few plates they didn’t like them till I placed it where it’s now and was the golden ticket. Just moments after me putting it inside the tank the male was packing and inspecting and then told the female to check it out!! All recorded. Took them now three weeks and her 1st was in a bad spot lots of flow. So was spotty and about 20 eggs so 5 fish maybe if lucky. So this clutch I lost count in the corner at 25 I believe about 40 eggs.. Anyone that wants 2 block out and count go ahead I will prolly soon. Luckily since the first clutch it got me knowing that they’re ready so I have their food ready. Now comes the time of wait and reward. 3 days now as we’re laid at night. Now I got a 5 gallon and a 10 gallon QT 5 is for them and 10 for corals. I’m so excited I’m waiting for the silver that I saw them they were gone. So I know when there ready but missed the beginning 1st round so this is a lot more fun. Pics are the current eggs on the plate. 1st were on the coroline glass and lost and that was when I found them so maybe they’ve had more then 1 but I watch them and noticed him 1st like a good boy!! It’s a mocha female in snowflake male. Then my QT for corals but will use for the fish and use a sponge on the intake the tank pic is there food and also my new tank. Flashlight is night 1 day 2 and day 3 is not taken... any info that helps me on this 1st rearing please let me know. I was told to wrap the tank so no light from the side and only from the surface so that they can swim easier And “find” the roti’s. And then just a standard acrylic air rod no stone as that skims. Basically feeding is what would be the most helpful quantity per fish kind of like if it’s 40 fish how many do I dose as I have sieves 2 filter em out. So far I’ve heard two times a day But idk amout? Thank you and Any1 that read all the way hahah.

It’s getting harder to take pictures... I also realized using a flashlight without my Redlands almost makes the female bail and started cleaning the plate again so fed and distracted her. I was moving a hammer and my hand was the killer. So there are alone and stress free and fed well. I’m having an issue treating for bubble algae and needing to run my skimmer For po4.... Any1 that can help me with lowering po4 would be epic. I use a pellet reactor now for my 75g but using on it till 1/2 the corals are moved. I got it to .1 and was .5 but killed my yum yum milli. I have a feeling it’s the rock... regardless if anybody reads this and knows anything let me know thank you

I just set up the breeding tank for them and I’m going to be putting the airline in but for now I’m using what came with this $20 kit. Now filter is in the pump just 2 move the water. And I used my 75 gallon for the mature water And added 2 cubes from my QT. Was told waterchanges but I’ll try naturally i’ve also thought to get a seachem ammonia badge so I have knowledge always. Only purpose I see for them is breeding as ammonia shouldn't be an issue I’ve had. Anything that’s best for them in the tank is what I’d like 2 know I’ve done 1 year of research but nothing’s like the real deal.. food✔️ Stable tank ✔️ 1st time breeding of salt fish ✔️. I see that blacking out the sides helps keep confusion down and higher chances 2 survive. Amount of food is the ? But will learn as they eat

I’ve just learned how much work that the male clown does. I figured my bubbles or enough but I lost half the clutch.... i’m ashamed and I want to show the fish that I am a failure.... I learned better to allow them to be whipped with bubbles then a gental flow.

Learning is really painful.... moments after I pulled the desk and I replaced she was sweeping to clean and he was pecking so hopefully i’m not just culturing roti’s for my corals.
