When I bought and moved my tank 1.5 years ago there was a plate coral that took a serious hit. I thought it was dead (the tank was moved in January and the buckets sat in the cold for too long) until I read that they can and do come back over time. So I left the exoskeleton out on a platform of rock and watched as magically new babies showed up and started growing all over the old exoskeleton. Fast forward to today and I just found the first baby to detach from the old exoskeleton and move onto the rock work.
I'm hoping someone can help me identify them as I'm stumped. Based on the pictures I've searched on, it comes up as a "Green Plate Coral" which sounds pretty generic and fairly untrustworthy. They notably don't really look like the adult that was originally moved, but I don't know if that is because they eventually change color as the mature.
Here is what the parent and now exoskeleton looked like before the move in whites:

Any help in identifying them would be wonderful. I'm ecstatic that they're finally starting to migrate from the old exoskeleton! Please let me know if y'all need additional pictures or with different lights.
