Finally got my IM tank! Went with 100 gal EXT. Any tips for moving the actual tank without putting too much stress on it? Thing is a tank.

We just picked it up from the bottom, one on each end and put it on the stand. It’s about 300 lbs but doable for two young guys (or gals) IMG_1732.jpeg
I keep seeing everyone saying suction cups, but don’t want to spend $150 just to pick it up one time 😂

I moved mine with a couple suction cups and 2 people but honestly if you have the stand it’s so tall that it’s much easier to lift from the bottom since you can get more upward force. Just be careful not to crush your fingers.

I had my two sons ( 6’ 2” and 6’ 1”) call two of their friends. It was 400 lbs and had to be moved from the garage to the living room.

Ask your LFS if you can borrow some suction cups. Then grab some strong helper!

Suction cups are def the way to go, and as many people as you can muster.

Good luck.
