Fun with Earl pix:D
No filter no nothing just lazy pro mode on auto everything.
Sauce have you ever seen purps come in on the bounces? Be curious if it stayed after recent split.
But am getting some in the tips of bubbles:D

I actually haven't seen any of the purple stay in the bubbles or skirts long but they do pop up from time to time. Not sure what it's in response to unfortunately.

I really need to suck it up and read all of your build.

(as if it’ll be a chore lol)

I'll paraphrase.

Given free 90g tank * super stoked
Tank had bad seams *super UN stoked
Bought established reef tank full of Stuff * exhausted but back to being stoked
Removed a lot of rock, twice. *Agnostically stoked
Upgraded sump to 40b
Added fish and coral no qt -agnostically stupid
Learned hard lesson, velvet sucks.

Caught up!

Pics of og tank, purchased tank before tear down, and as it sits below.

I'm glad we went through that little exercise belt. For some reason when I pull up the new tank in my mind's eye when I first picked it up. I remembered a lot more BA going on.

Just kind of realized it's way nicer now!

Gotta have some freshwater folk in here hopefully

My dad bought a 60g tall angel tank and stand. Planning to have 10-12 smaller angels is it.

What's the play here with filtration? Slow and steady it seems.

Canister? Hob?

No plants initially and maybe ever.
I've had both canisters and HOBs on my angel tanks. Right now, they're all in the 125 and I have 2 canisters and a HOB on it. they can handle moderate flow, but you don't want anything too heavy

Fluval 407 is in the right size range. Any others I should be looking at? I prefer canisters to hob personally so if they both work.
