Replace heaters every year, problem solved.
Replace heaters every year, problem solved.
All Heaters are a gamble to some degree.I’m sorry if you disagree but this is the 3rd Finnex heater to die dramatically on me and the 2nd to shock the crap out of me. Not one of them have been more than 2 years old.
The company is based outside of Chicago in Elmhurst. There customer service is pretty good. Have you contacted them?
I haven't had any issues with Finnex. I consider them a quality company.
+1, the ones I usually see having problems are the ones that adjust their own temp, the stand alone titanium finnex are incredible.I've always used there titaniums that require a separate controller, and I have been very impressed with them. I've never had an issue. Quality heater in my book.
30% failure rate says otherwise and I’m not just talking stuck on/off. All 3 have failed in a matter that creates a shock hazard. I know heaters don’t last forever. but 3 out of 10 failing in < 2 years is not quality IMO.
Yes, every year, all heaters are junk and I would not trust thousands of dollars in live stock and SPS to a cheap $50-100 dollar heater. Mine will be replaced annually. Replacing them every year is cheap insurance.Seriously? Every year? We shouldn't support junk products.
