Well, I got most of the stuff mounted. All I have to do now is wire it all up.

I just bought some $15 laminated shelves from Lowe’s to make the shelves and the control board. About the thriftiest part of the build.

I guess the refugium will be next. I have to plumb that to the sump and then it will be ready for water.

Well, slight mistake on the secondary board. I forgot to put the other power strip on it. I had a shelf in the upper left corner, so I just took it off and put the strip there. Luckily it fit.
Updated pic.

ATO reservoir partially filled, as well as the 20 gallon refugium. Adding salt to that today - possibly. Still slowly hooking stuff up. Got started on dosing system last night.

I moved a number of corals from my nano into this tank over the last few days. Funny, the nano is still full and there are a couple of large corals in the 125. I am hoping I didn't transplant too many pests. The nano has some large aiptasia and quite a few big bristle worms. I did dip them in Coral RX first, but I assume I will get pests sooner or later anyway. :)

But, I must say it is good to have a tank again! FINALLY!

Nothing interesting yet. But there are about 20 frags and decent sized colonies in the tank now. Some are still perturbed that they were moved out of Pirate’s Reef. Some zoanthids are suffering from lack of light from being overshadowed by the overgrowth in the small tank. Hopefully they will color back up.

Anyway, since you asked, here are a few photos.

Thanks. There is an SPS frag in there also. I broke it off by accident, so figured I would see how it did. Two days and looks ok. I am trying to get softies with a little different colors. They aren’t all brown.

Cool Gary!

Please remind me what lights you’re running? I’m simply not up for going through years worth of “almost wet” to find it! ;)

It wouldn’t have done you any good anyway. I “had” a 48” 8 bulb ATI Hybrid lamp that was on the floor when my house flooded in 2021. So, I now have an ATI 8 bulb fixture with two Kessil 360 WE lamps on both ends and an older Kessil w350 on the back of the canopy. Like this…
