I added a Peppermint shrimp to my Fluval Evo tank a couple of hours ago to eat Aiptasia that’s started growing in my tank. I was absolutely horrified to see my Red Fire Clown attack it, then pick it up and feed it to his BTA!!!

I can’t find anywhere on the internet to say Peppermint Shrimps aren’t compatible with Fire Clowns?! Is this the case?

I managed to rescue it out of the Anemone and hide it away from the Fire Clown. It is currently lying on its side under a rock and has been twitching/randomly moving for a couple of hours now. Could it be temporarily paralysed from the BTA or is it slowly dying? Not really sure what to do with it?

If you feed him shrimp, he might’ve just smelled the peppermint shrimp and figured it was food too. I would try to look at different aptasia control methods
