Fire Places and fish tanks

With winter coming along people are starting to break out the fire places. Is it okay to use the fire places and are there any concerns when using it? My fish tank is in my bedroom and the fire place is in the living room. Is there anything to worry about or is it fine?

At most your evaporation might increase so be filling the ato more.
