I just put two fire shrimps in my tank yesterday to wake up to one have been eaten.
Would a Melanarus Wrasse have done that?

Do you have a Latin name for the Christmass wrasse? Apparently other fishes besides H. claudia have that common name.

Are you sure the shrimp didn't molt or is hiding?

I have 4 wrasses, 3 fairy and a melanarus and they dont bother my 2 cleaners and 1 fire shrimp but I did have two peppermint shrimp that disappeared which I probably attribute to my wrasses.

It would molt that fast? Within 12 hours of me putting in the tank?
