Fire worms ?

Hi guys,

We got a little nano reef set up, got some live rock to help the cycle begin before we introduce fish - after 2 days we noticed some worms, from Google I think they are fire worms .. please let me know what you think ? ( added genuine sea water & bacteria )

Also noticed after 2 days a tiny anemone that came with the live rock is dead & some small shrimp dead on the sand - worms ( maybe 4 or 5 ) please help- are the worms killing everything? Or is the water no good ?

The worms are bristle worms. They are not usually harmful unless you have tons of them. Then they can bother corals.
As far as your water being good or bad and killing things. We need to know your perameters. Do you have saltwater test kits?

^ this…just bristle worms…if your tank is cycling they may starve out before becoming an issue but if they do eventually there’s plenty of ways to take care of them…in my tank I trapped the big ones, got a six line wrasse for the small ones (population control), and they’ve been good detritus CUC ever since.
