Firefish and YWG?

Hey everyone, yesterday I added a YWG to my Evo 13.5 gallon that has a firefish in it. This morning I noticed that the firefish was near the YWG'S hole and he kind of backed up to it and fanned his tail back and forth in front of it fairly quickly. Like he was fanning the sand or something. The YWG wasn't near the entrance of the hole and was on the other side of the rock formation so the firefish wasn't necessarily being aggressive but I have never seen him do that before. Any ideas what this kind of behavior might be?

Classic "caveman" like behavior by the firefish. It's a territory thing to them.

Yea, he might of taken your watchmans house. Not a big deal, he will make a new one. I’ve had a YWG and a firefish in the same tank for almost 2 years, originally in a biocube. No issues.

Interesting, I've never seen the firefish use or even go near that hole before and the YWG only moved a few inches away. The firefish is probably throwing a tantrum cuz he has to share his tank now haha
