Firefish goby going crazy under blue light

Every time my dark blue lights turn on my firefish immediately start flying around the tank and jumping up. I was curious if anyone else has this experience or just me.

They are pretty skittish at almost the smallest thing seems to set them off. Mesh top on the tank. Sometimes they knock their dorsal fin off darting around too.
