Somewhat. Hes laying on the rock behind the frag plug, there's no large hole on the rock for him to have a crevice. Thank you. He doesn't look stressed but still learning the behavior.

How long have you had him? They can definitely take a day or more to get used to the new tank, and they do indeed kind of stay with the rock. But if he's lying and not really doing much, there would be a concern of disease or something else that may be causing him to act this way.

same happened with me
didnt see him for nearly 2 weeks!! take out the rockwork, nothing
go on vacatio
my friend takes care of the tank
lo-and-behold
i come back to a healthy firefish!!

I'm curious if they don't need to eat for that long or just eat some scraps when we're not watching.

I actually just added him about 4 hours ago, so he's definitely a noobie. Started on a bottom rock, now he's hanging out there i just took that Pic. I don't see any labored breathing etc. Just a lazy looking fish perched.

Have a Watchman and love it. Would just like something that perches more or swims mid water at times. I've seen court jester gobies but heard they can be hard to take care of?

Mabye a flame hawkfish if perching is what your looking for my Tahitian gold hawkfish is one of my favorites

Unfortunately I have a cleaner shrimp pair. Trust me, I love flame hawkfish

Any other less shy gobies or blennies that you would recommend for a 25 gallon? I just picked up a tail spot blenny for my other tank and even tbough it's not swimming around, at least it's perched on a rock out in the open. I'd even settle for behavior like that if you have any suggestions. I love midas blennys but I know my tank is too small.

My yellow watchman is small right now and is very shy. I plan to add a pistol shrimp to pair with him and hopefully, that boosts his confidence up a little.

Regarding bglennies, I heard bicolor blennies are good and always swimming around.
I'm thinking about add a hawkfish since they have a bunch of personality and are cool to watch.
