Firereefs shallow "REAL" island build!

I see everything and wow, is that bad ****! Never thought about a shallow tank for myself till now! Is this going to be fish only or will there be coral. I don't see any lighting other than ambiant lighting from behind the tank. You could probably throw a PAR38 Lamp in the ceiling fan??

Yea, I joined the reef koi group buy and ordered two led light fixtures. They're suppose to arrive in a week or so.

That looks awesome, you know, you could move those masks so that the bottom is level with the top of the tank and you can run the led wires behind them. Would love to see pics of the corals!!

I actually thought about using bamboo to hide the wires. Gotta make a stop at the local arts and crafts store.
I'm still learning how to use my camera. My coral shots come out ugly. Lol

I can see all the pics after the point you noted you were copying from ReefCentral...considering I don't have an account there that's probably why I'm guessing.

All the pics since then look pretty sweet, very nice setup, but what about swapping the palms for some mangroves with a CFL above them?
