Hello everyone!
I am still new to SPS, so I got a nice frag of Fireworks Clove few months ago, it grows like crazy, ha. So, I recently noticed a one polyp, well, if you imagine a single clove polyp it looks like a flower with a filaments, so there is one head or flower that has filaments splitted on each end. Is this normal for them to have this, or should I watch close and if it grows another polyps from this head and they will have filaments that are splitted at the end of each filament and each split has two small filaments.
So is this a mutation os some kind, if yes, it might be a start to a cool new sp. of clove and I should try to keep and grow it? Shold it be fragged when it gets big enough? Tbh I never did fragging earlier. Sorry no pics yet, as the polyp head is small and I cannot catch it on a close up as it is hidden among other heads. I will try to get an underwater camera for a close shot though.
