If you use Coral Pro Salt at 11.5dkh, then you need to maintain this level……why change salt, used RSCP for many many years, just as good as any other salt.

Changes in DKH can induce bad effects.
I think the consensus of everyone here was to slowly lower it down to 8-9 range for better success.

Hes just recently added corals, low NO³ with that dkh level is going to cause problems. It is much easier starting out to maintain a lower dkh closer to natural seawater especially for someone who may not have much if any experience keeping sps corals. Can dkh be kept higher, yes. Can it be more problematic, yes.
