I think I am ready for my first harder acros. I currently have a mixed tank with some easier sps including a green slimer, stylophora, birdnest and anacropora. They have all looked healthy and have grown a considerable amount. Because of this I think I want to try some acropora. I was thinking for my first ones to be a Oregon blue tort, a pc rainbow and tyree pink lemonade. Are any of these extremely difficult and that I should stay away from? Would these be recommended from someone getting into acros? I am most concerned with the tyree pink lemonade as I want something yellow and don't know how hard it is to get that color. Anything about their difficultly would be appreciated.
tank: red sea reefer 250
Lights: 2xAi 16 prime
parameters:
pH: 8.3
Alk:10
Cal:435
NO3:17
PO4: .06

Should also add that the only reason I am worried about acros is that my green slimer frag hasn't grown at all but shows good PE and color.

I say go for it, you can't know unless you try. The unofficial rule with corals is to only spend what you can afford to lose, you can usually find blue torts for $20-$40, pc rainbow usually $50-$60. As a hint I suggest to find some basement fraggers near you, they are the best for value and frag size.

With that said, I'm not so sure that 2 primes are enough for sps to really thrive on that size tank

Usually I tell people to go with the cheapest corals you can find, just as a trial run.
