Few update pics.

Everything is happy for the most part. Still trying to find right position for flow for hammers and torch.

I replumbed my return. I had a single return on opposite corner of overflow with a wide flare nozzle and just was creating way too much flow in the lower areas. I replumbed to center brace with two RFGs. Things seem much happier.

The acans and blastos are always crazy puffy

Still working on getting things balanced to rid the tank of algae. Cuc is lacking so need to beef things up there but the addition of the lawnmower blenny is helping.

Think I have finally gotten flow dialed in to make everything happy. Still working on getting this torch to fully extend but everything else is looking great.

Acans have lots of little babies.

Blastos are always fully expanded

Meteor shower is encrusting off of the plug

So far so good

Got some new frags in yesterday. Can't say enough about aquasd. Will get some good photos when I have time.

This is the AquaSD notorious black torch about 8 hours going into the tank looking healthy and happy as can be.

Picked up three nice purple fire fish yesterday. Also happened to stumble upon a black cap basslet at the LFS, for the price, had to grab it

Hitting the 7 month mark things are going well. Well maybe more like 4.5 since cycle completed. I am very happy so far with results. Things are starting to balance out and overall appearance of the tank is so much better. After switching my fuge light to the H80 my chaeto is exploding. Po4 finally maintaining lower although could be slightly lower still. Apex has definitely made life easier. Next to come with be ATK and AFS before going on vacation in December. Coral are all far and happy. New heads popping up and significant growth of entrusting corals.

Congrats on your success and appreciate the updates. I will be beginning my process shortly once my booster pump comes in for my RODI and i can find some decently priced rock. My question is would you recommend someone to just fork out hte extra money for the H80 in the beginning or is such light not required in the beginning fuge stages

Hey thanks I really appreciate that. I would highly recommend the H80. Ends up being more costly buying lesser equipment first then upgrading it but all depends on budget. Don't really need the fuge going anyway til after your cycle so you have time.

One thing I noticed with the chaeto max was slime and hair algae growing in the fuge. With the H80 chaeto is growing like crazy and no nuisance algae in the fuge. Also running a brightwell NO3 xport plate in my fuge and really believe its responsible for keeping NO3 low
