I'm quite happy with the 4 bulb, the 6 bulb would possibly be too much light; I have a mixed reef with some acros and montis and all corals are showing great color and health for several years now. I don't have a chiller and would be concerned about keeping the tank temp down with a 6 bulb fixture as well.
