I am a few weeks out from purchasing my first ever corals. Do you recommend buying multiples of the same kind of coral at first to see if I don’t fail. Or would it be more beneficial to buy 1 of each type of hardy corals?

ive done my research and have a list of hardy corals for beginners, but I’m not sure if I should pick 1 of each. Or if I should get multiples of 1 type to begin.

Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated.

My tip would be to start slow like 1 or 2 frags. It will be a learning process and I personally was overwhelmed early on by too many variables. I was buying a couple cheap frags every weekend. I was constantly moving them and they were getting knocked off the rocks where I placed them. Many died. I didn't know simple things like gluing them in place! :)
