Howdy,

I am new to reefing! Just launched my innovative marine 30 gallon 5 weeks ago and added my first two clowns this passed Friday. I have not had any algae just yet but I am wondering if I should add several snails / hermits now.

I have no clue how many or which ones to add so any help is greatly appreciated.

If your not having alge I don't see a need to add snails. Do you have test kits? If so what are the paramiters you are getting for your water.

my temp is 78 F
Salinity is 1.025
Ammonia = 0
Nitrite = 0
Nitrate is like 30ppm

I don't have ability to test the others. What kit offers those tests?
