First Ever Reef Tank!!!!

A while ago i joined the forums, at first i wanted to do a 4g pico tank only holding 14lt of water, now i have officially bought a 35cm cube reef tank with backsump and HOB skimmer, i am very excited and would love to hear your recomendations and stocking suggestions for this tiny reef tank i bought. no pics because it hasn't arrived yet

Congrats!! Welcome to fam. Can’t go wrong with a pair of clowns. I think reef octopus makes a good hob skimmer

Oh, i didn't expect clownfish to be a good fit for this tank! but i guess it will look much more alive that way! thanks for the recommendation. I bought the tank as a refurbished AIO tank, it was a display tank at the fish tank factory and had a chinese brand skimmer alongside the return pump and heater so idk if those work anymore but i got it very cheap for only 60$ with all the old glass panels replaced as one was cracked in the corner.

Actually. How many gallons is it? I must’ve misread it being 35cm. Does it equal 11 gallons? If so a pair of clowns may be too small unless you move to a larger tank later on. My apologies. There definitely are some gobies that would work

Ahh yes it is 35cm cube like 45lt because one of the sides is 36cm, in that case yeah i was planning to keep a goby with a pistol shrimp but no more fish yet
