Hey guys, last week I got my first LPS coral, a frogspawn, duncan, hammer and others.

When I got the frogspawn he was more "green" and now looks like he lost a little bit of the green tone.
The other corals are doing great

My parameters:

KH: 9
Ca: 430
Mg: 1375
Salinity: 1025
Temp: 26.9 constant (chiller)
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 10
Phosphate: Unknown (I dont have the test yet)

I have a DIY LED light with 160W, 23cm above water surface and running at 60%.

What you guys think? Is he normal or indeed he lost some of his colors? (too much or too little light?)

You could decrease your lighting as one option. Do you have a shaded area that you could move it to?

I decreased the lighting to 45%.

I think the light was too bright even at 60%. And the light was like only 10cm from the surface (I changed to 25cm last week).

When I got a small leather 3 months ago and placed him right in the middle, he was pink and now hes more like brown.

Does his color change indicates that the light was too bright?

Hey, the diodes I don't know for sure, the led light is DIY and I bought it from a fellow hobbyist. The lights are about 160W, the tank is 80cm x 50cm x 50cm, 200L total (50 gallons) give or take
