Hellloooo,

I setup a 18 gallon marine aquarium in July and thought to document my progress here

Current Details
Setup
- Sumpless 18 gallon tank
- Aqua One Nautilus 600 Canister Filter
- Sicce Voyager Nano 1000
- Aqua One Glass Heater 100W
- Popbloom S50 light
- Dry rock
- Pacific Coral Aragonite Sand

Filter Media
1st layer (bottom) - filter floss
2nd layer - Seachem Matrix, sponge, carbon
3rd layer - bio-balls, ceramic rings

Livestock
- 1
Nassarius snail
- 1 Strombus snail
- 1 Turbo snail
- 2 stomatella snails
- 1 torch coral
- Ulva macroalgae

Future Purchases...
More euphillya
Currently, I have a single torch coral (named Raymond) who I bought 1.5 months ago and is very forgiving of my beginner mistakes. I really love torch corals, and would love to get even more!

Auto Top Off
Its a pain to do manual top off everyday consistently, especially around university. Id rather let an ATO do it for me but I am skeptical around it malfunctioning and having a salinity crash

Fishiessss
I have my eye on a pair of Picasso clowns, that im hoping to get by the end of the year. Still traumatised from my first pair dying from ammonia spike in my QT because of ich. This time will have everything stable for them AND will be buying from a store that uses TTM and worming medications - internal parasites are NOT fun.
