First plunge into reefing, AIO levels?

G’day everyone

Finally took the plunge (longtime turtle and FW) and set up a Waterbox 20 that was a Christmas present (from my wife, so the battle is already won).
It’s filled, and will be cycling for the next couple of weeks whilst I’m interstate. I just want to confirm the AIO chamber levels before I leave it in my wife’s hands whilst I’m away.

Seconds chamber is about an inch below the weir, pump chamber is about half an inch below the weir.
When the return pump is tuned off, everything finds an equilibrium and returns to the same level when the pump is turned back on.

I had a look around but couldn’t find any questions/answers, apologies if this has already been done to death.

I’m also cycling with Fritz Ammonia and FritzZyme 9 (Turbo Start 900 unfortunately isn’t readily available in Australia). Neither product provides instruction if continued dosing is required? I was thinking of leaving it a few days to a week then get her to either dose a small amount of ammonia or add a very small pinch of fish food every couple of days? Not sure how quickly FritzZyme 9 will establish bacteria, supplemental dosing/feeding may not even be required, I’m not sure.

Apologies for the absolute essay of a first post.

Been trolling this forum for months and is an absolute ripper of a resource.

The water levels are fine but you’ll want to set up some kind of top off system or the return chamber will evaporate quickly. Even an upside down water bottle with a hole in the cap full of rodi will suffice.

I try and keep mine so the water is falling from chamber to chamber but not to far so its not loud

I think you are on your way just fine, although I can't speak to the exact situation of that model. The cycling stage is a very hands off, no work, kind of thing so it'll be fine. Just have patience with it and you'll be fine. An ATO, as mentioned, is super helpful.

Thanks for all the replies guys. Looks like the levels are all good.

Got a Tunze 3152 on the way but won’t be here before I leave.
Managed to find a glass lid off another tank I had that fit almost perfectly so I should be able to minimise evaporation whilst I’m away.
