Blaine ended up moving down to cali and got super busy.

He tries to pop in when he can but Rev was kind enough to let me help out with the new additions.

Yeah, I've seen him making content for whatever retailer he's affiliated with. I can never remember which one he's with but I've seen a few of the videos. Glad to hear that you're on the job.

I have mainly softies...because my jerky blue spotted toby puffer likes to eat most everything else!

I love the SR80. My custom built AIO is based on that design except my AIO area is 8” wide instead of 5.5”. I did that so I could use a full sized skimmer and other larger equipment.

It's a nice footprint! Having a larger back chamber wouldn't hurt, though. I'm using a Deltec MC500 skimmer which fits great. Before this tank I always had sumps, but decided to try something different with this one. I have honestly enjoyed it more than several of my sumped systems despite some of the limitations.

Yep, it is a nice size. Mine is on the second floor and we were concerned about leaks from a possible plumbing failure so I just bypassed the plumbing while attaching an extra large AIO “sump” to the back of the tank. It works great and no possibility of leaking plumbing.

Advanced Acrylics. Long story short, great tank, terrible communication. Would not work with again despite quality work.

You actually got a product from them? Gives me hope... John has been saying my 84" hybrid pvc sump will ship any day now for the last 4 weeks, no longer is responding to calls or txt. last told me on Dec 2 it would ship last Friday, nothing but crickets now. Hopefully I get my sump as I have some older AA stuff that has been very good and I'm preparing for a 420G build. Communication with John was only good before I sent him the money!!!

John is a straight up weasel in my opinion. He will eventually get around to shipping your item probably. I had to hassle him endlessly it seemed like in order to get my tank shipped. Same situation as you, he said it would ship and it didn't for several more weeks. I had to threaten him with reversing the charges on my credit card after I knew the tank was finished otherwise I might still be waiting. I hope he packs your sump more carefully than he packed my tank. I could not believe mine arrived with no damage. Once he has your money he just doesn't care. He gave me a 6 week timeframe to complete my tank and it actually took about 4 months. My understanding is that I was lucky it arrived that quickly. Good luck.

That is terrible.... We need a blacklisted vendors list on these forums. This should not be accepted as ok!

I started a new thread to get this more attention. Hopefully help others avoid my mistake. Would be great if everyone could share their experience on the matter.
