Yeah she can bury herself. The sandbed is sloped so I can more easily see the whole tank. ranges from 0" (as you can see) to about 4" at the back of the tank.

She left the sandbed briefly at 3pm, ate some mysis from pipette, rested on the sandbed for 30-45 seconds and buried herself again. I find this strange as she was the most active fish in the display

Her colours are the best I have ever seen on her, she just seems more and more lethargic. Am fairly certain it isn't Velvet, Ich, Flukes or Internal Parasites. I cant spot a wound on her, gills look normal (no swelling or redness), and she doesn't lay on her side?

Had this one since October so not a new addition

I have one, if she is looking well and eats she might be de stressing and sleeping the food off, fingers crossed for her.

Not seen her in QT for the last two days. I do have a decent pod population in both the QT and DT now, I guess that she'll come out the sand if she was to pass?

Well I plan on restarting this as soon as I can transport it home, Covid19 shutdown has battered the equipment so need some replacement parts, namely heater, return pump and would like a jump guard style lid

Very pretty but I have never had one.

Seems much the same wherever I ask, seems to be once past acclimation they're fairly Hardy. I don't really think I can pass up on this deal plus comes with 3kg of rock that's been in a DT for 5+ years. Plus gets me a Clarkii ❤️❤️

So a small update, mainly tidying cables, hanging power strip, hooking up Inkbird and Probe. I will get a proper pendant hanging kit to swap out the gooseneck eventually.

Cycle is complete (2ppm Ammonia processed in 24 hours) so waiting until Monday for first introductions

I decided that the small central rock was causing too many issues with dead spots and detritus so it has been shuffled to the right to join the larger island. Liking the double islands rockwork at the moment, still deciding on livestock but will have a look in my LFS today for some ideas.

So while the office will shut down I am allowed to work within the building stll as long as I maintain a 2m spacing from other staff. I will be the only member of my team in.

So not the clowns I wanted but cheap from a local breeder
