Just wanted to run my equipment list by people and see if I am missing anything in particular.

It will be a 20G AIO IM Nuvo Fusion mixed reef mainly lps and softies with one or two sps
WITHOUT A SKIMMER

20G IM tank
AI 16HD w/ mount
Ato w/ 5 gal container
Jebao sow power head
75w heater
40# live rock (not using all just to get shapes I want)
20# live sand
Test kits
Mis. Cleaning supplies

I will be getting water from a friend so no need for salt mix or RODI

I’m not looking to add any additives to this tank for now.

Is there anything essential missing that I am overlooking?

Bucket, another heater, and possibly another powerhead for water changes
Thanks forgot about those things! I have spare buckets and siphons around the house already but could use a cheap power head for sure!

Seems to be a good list. Maybe get some media to fill one of the back compartments for bio filtration build up.

I was thinking of just using some of the extra leftover rocks for that along with the bioballs the tank comes with.

Lol. Yes buckets. And towels for that matter. Oh, find a good algae scraper that you like… Feels good to keep the glass clean. Fritz aquarium safe glass cleaner is good for the outside.

A decent refractometer and a mag float for the glass. You may also want a heater controller like an ink bird.

Form or function: Do you consider your rock work to be art or the platform for your coral?
