First saltwater tank.

Few things, light broke, and new firefish!
Seems like your first tank is going amazing so far! I started a 13.5 gal as my first saltwater tank more than a year ago and I definitely have had ups and downs but it’s doing good now. Keep up the good work man!

Tanks! Im planning to get the blue light soon, but the regular light has been fixed. The firefish has been doing well

seen the firefish poop look yellow-whitish. I dont think much of it as he doesn't seem to act wierd, and the flakes I feed are a light yellow

try to feed frozen over flakes or pellets, better for the fish and less phosphates and nitrates usually

coralline algae is gone. Diatoms have overtaken my rocks and dont wanna come out. Im also getting a new light. noticed my clownfish chasing my firefish.

The firefish is faster than the clownfish, so he always escapes the clown. The clown does kinda restrict him from eating, but he always gets the food that goes in the water column

few things, got a powerhead (not gonna be used yet as I dont have any spare plugs). The light arrived (its amazing!),

parameters since I'm planning to get corals this weekend:
~9 DKH alkalinity (salifert)
~430 ppm calcium (API)
~3 ppm nitrate (API)
~under 0.05 and over 0 phosphate (API, pale yellow)
