I've ordered about 15 frags from aquasd that will be arriving Thursday. I already have a qt tank set up minus a light (waiting on a kessil a160we I bought here) and I was wondering if my acclimation plan would help keep the corals alive. First I have the day off work to immediately recieve the package. Lights off in qt and temp acclimate bags 15 to 30 min. Should I place all corals and bag water in one large container to drip acclimate or drip acclimate individual bags? While drip aclimating i plan to watch for pests or obvious algae. Next should I dip the corals or place them into qt for a few days then dip? Do I need to feed corals or dose in qt? Sorry for so many questions, I'm just hoping not to kill my first order.

My two cents here. I’ve had orders come in with multiple corals from the same store and presumably even the same system in that store and have the alk in one bag be 9+ while having another bag test sub 7. I personally acclimate in separate containers. It can be a royal pain! Believe me I have had some days with 30+ frags come in its a mad house! Lol. Once they all get to a point where the remaining alk difference is negligible they all go into the same dip container, then rinse, them into the system.
