Hi guys. I just got a frag of eagle eyes, today I noticed the back side had about 6 large unknown polyps so I pulled it out and the clump fell of the frag plug sooooo I took them apart and put each on some rubble I had. Only took about 15 min but nothing is opening up. How long does it take for the frags to open back up? I'm freaking out that I've killed them. They are my first Zoa's and first time fragging. I was very gentle

You can see the green ones on the back. Anyone know what those are?

As long as you don't get glue on the skirt of the zoas/palys they should be fine. Zoas are pretty hardy most of them time and can handle a bit of abuse. I fragged off 3 heads from my rasta mother colony and it took the frag 3 days to open. Just give them time and make sure nothing is bothering them (fish, inverts, pests, water flow)

I wanted to get the unknown green ones off the eagle eye rock. I got all but two. I still don't know what the green one is.
I was told one would smother the other so the greens needed off.

They can smother eachother yes but that's over a long time. Some times it's pretty cool to watch two large colonies on one rock battle eachother. You can scrape the eagle eyes (or the green ones) off with an xacto knife or scalpel and glue them on a new rock or plug. Use reef safe glue only! But to be honest I wouldn't worry about them over growing eachother. They will grow outward in all directions, one won't grow fast enough to consume the other. Know if the eagle eye was a bowser paly? Yea I would separate them ASAP seeing as the bowser only grows about a head a year and is worth a pretty penny.
