I am setting up a 100 gallon frag system, and will be getting two dosing pumps and separate 1 gallon containers. With the maximum amount of ca or alk in the 1 gallon of rodi water, and a high stocked frag system, how much should I dose per day? I plan on mostly zoas and lps.

i would start with the recommended 1ml/8gallon of water and then increase from there. if stocked high enough you will exceed the 1ml/gallon limit. im actually now using 140mls per day in a 100 gallon sps/lps dominated system

And the calculator just tells you what to add to reach a certain level, but not to keep it there.

You have to test your tank and figure out how much your system uses then you can use the calculator to know how much to use to reach that level. Theres really no answer for this question cause everybodys tank uses different ammounts depending on how much livestock you have.
