First time visiting this site, but looks like a fabulous place to get ideas and answers.
Purchased a home 5 1/2 years ago with a 9 year old 550 gal. corner tank with curved face. Saltwater with tons of mature corrals and about 15 fish. I have been scuba diving for 30+ years, so I fell in love with it immediately. Slowly learned the ins & outs of most of the maintenance but still have a guy coming twice a month to do water changes and tempt me with fish and corrals. I am about as handy as they come, so doing a lot of the stuff on my own is both rewarding and saves some $$.
Lighting is a bit of an issue with such a big tank, and my most pressing issue is that the original owners left the deep corner dark and empty. I would really like to put some lighting back there and add something tall that could be seen. Any ideas welcome.
