Fish and coral first aid chemicals beginners should have just in case?

The title says it...

I live 3 hours away from nearest brick and mortar saltwater fish store. Even then they have a limited selection. Most any emergency meds I would have to get in a hurry would take at least 2 days to arrive (likely longer).

I would hate to end up with a fish emergency... research the cause.. and then have nothing to treat the problem. Any advice on must haves?
