FISH AND REEF WHY DID YOU START

Tell me why or what interested you in reef and marine fish.

I started with freshwater tanks. But its my opinion, for anything aquatic, marine has the most vibrant and interesting animals. From coral to fish, invertebrates. I wanted to try something new.

tanks have been my therapy to deal with stress and depression.

crazy desire to be broke i guess..

no but really, my dad had a 125 when i was a kid & i was obsessed. forgot about my love for reefing until about 3 months ago, now here i am. feeling like a scientist with my equipment & test kits. My tank is the new house TV

I started in freshwater, then freshwater planted, but just got bored with the lack of color. Switched to saltwater, and never looked back!

I also had a lot of extra money laying around that I wasn’t using for anything else.
Just kidding! We just live on rice and beans now.

Always loved fish! But as someone in law enforcement its very important to have hobbies and thongs that relax you, and for me thats my fish! I love watching them and interacting with them.

My parents had a tank 20+ years ago that I would look at whenever I was in the dining room. Fast-forward to now, and I guess I am carrying the torch of having a reef tank now, haha.
