well im having some problems deciding on what to do for fish in my tank.

currently i have a mccoskers, lineatus, mystery, purple firefish and a pair of onyx. i have a 120.

i was really wanting to have a pairs tank ideally. i was wanting 2 of each fish i have above. but it seems that might be a bad idea that only having one female that the male might abuse it too much. ?

but guess i have concerns. first off i guess its ideal with putting the lineatus and mccoskers in sets of three. so my concern with having three mccoskers, three lineaus, and a pair of mystery , do you think there would be territory issues ?

im just trying to decide if i want to do the trios, and the pair of mystery. or just leave them all singular and buy different types of fish ???

what do you guys think? or any experience that might be helpful ?

I wouldn't put in 2 mystery's. That would just cause issues, especially if they ended up being two males.

I think it looks better with one Trio of whatever you like better, then a couple male/female pairs, and some singles.

what about the lineatus ? is it accurate that they should also be in a trio?
