I didn't think it was smart to put fish in the sump while it's running. Are you sure that would be a good idea? I could always take him back to the store. Will he ever pair with another pistol shrimp again?

He will pr up with another shrimp quite readily.

Sharpnose puffers will work, but definitely research what is best for your tank and take adequate time in between additions.

Thank you all 4 your help. I believe after alot of consideration and apparently lost time, I have decided my tank is best 4 a community reef tank and will probably end up with a percula and anemone along with some other fish that would brighten the tank. Does anybody have any ideas 4 fish that would be supported well in this style tank?

Fairy and flasher wrasses are great choices because they are active, colorful, and you can mix several easily . @eatbreakfast @evolved

Btw many people do have fish in their sump, great time out area if you have space.

Firefish and cardinals will do well. Also a harem of anthias would bring great color also. Good luck and share what u decide

The above suggestions are great, personally I love wrasses, but anthias, royal gramma, grammistes blenny, midas blenny, tiger jawfish, zebra dartfish are also nice choices.
