Hey everyone, so a few weeks ago I got a Kole tang for my tank. He's been a model citizen and gets along with everything in my tank (although what my starry blenny thinks of him is a different story.)

However, he seemed to grow a real attachment to my melanaurus wrasse and literally follows his wherever he goes. The wrasse seems unbothered by it and continues his usual routes of searching for worms. This creates the funny situation were the wrasse goes in a hole to small for the tang, and the tang hurriedly looks for a way around to the wrasse.

So I wanted to post here and ask if anyone else has fish that seemed to become bffs that they find interesting or funny.

I've included a picture to see

My Coral Beauty and Yellow Tang were similar when they were added together, unfortunately after a month my YT turned on my CB. Generally speaking though my Foxface, Coral Beauty, Melanurus and Blue Star Leopard will often hang out in a group. My Foxface is usually the one that is seeking companionship (a fish to hang out with) from the others, but the others kind of prefer to do their own thing.

Black spot foxface and my sailfin tang hang out all the time. They'll have a spat once and a while like an old married couple

my red line wrasse and yellow coris wrasse cruise around together. i was worried one of them was being passive aggressive for awhile, but i've never seen an ounce of aggression from either of them toward of each other. the orchid dottyback would prefer they hunt away from his cave, though.

my lyretail anthias and midas blenny also hang together frequently. i have seen the anthias kind of get a little aggro with the blenny, but then they're back to swimming in the current together

I have a single Oynx Clown fish that hangs with 4 Blue/Green Chromis, its funny because the chromis swim easily and the clown struggles to keep up.

My Scopas tang and my Orange Spotted Rabbitfish were seldom more than a couple inches from each other. The Rabbitfish started eating corals, and I had to rehome him... caught the Scopas tank TWICE while trying to net the rabbitfish. Happily, the Scopas tang doesn't appear to be suffering without the rabbitfish.

I think my foxface feels bad for my male clown. My male clown is banned to the rock work by the female and my foxface has recently been down is in the same hole just hanging out with him.

I don't know if my grazers are friends, but they all cruise together. I think it's more that they want to keep an eye on the others.

My one spot foxface and sailfin follow each other. My foxface is a scaredy cat and tags along with him to be safe.

My brat pack consists of my hippo tang, black tang, and yellow coris wrasse. They go everywhere together.

My fire shrimp and algae blenny are also besties...so weird.
