Hello! Today I went to Scheels and looked at their aquarium for awhile. I saw a few fish I didn't know, so I was helping I could get some help on identifying these three fish.

Fish 3 (this picture isn't supper great, but from what I can tell it's some sort of tang. It was easily over a foot long).

1 looks like a damsel
2 is orange spotted spinefoot
3 Is a black tang

3rd is and acanthurus fowleri or albipectoralis

Thanks! I was thinking the first one was a Damsel of some sort, and I definitely thing number 2 is an Orange Spotted Spinefoot!

1) A Sergeant Major damselfish. I haven't looked much into how to distinguish the species, but I'd guess the Indo-Pacific Sergeant Major, Abudefduf vaigiensis. Generally speaking, Sergeant Majors get pretty big (~6") and very mean from what I've heard.

2) Orange-spotted/Golden Rabbitfish, Siganus guttatus. This is sometimes called the Gold Spot Rabbitfish, but that name is also (confusingly) used for Siganus punctatus.

3) An Acanthurus tang, but I'm not entirely sure what species from the pic. The yellow-tipped fins are relatively unique though, so you should be able to figure out what species it is. Does the tang have any white on it (particularly by the tail)? If not, possibly Acanthurus albipectoralis?
