Looking for some help ID’ing this guy. Guess is some kind of goby but not sure. He perches on the sand. Great personality, very active. Will go after snails and crabs if tipped over.

That's because he's a sandperch! :p Parapercis is the genus

parapercis schauinslandi, careful will also go after shrimp and fish that fit its mouth

Thanks for the help! As of now he’s the smallest member of my tank and no shrimp.
